From the Valley
There’s a rattle in the valley
Where my dry bones lay
Where sin ripped right through me
Left me dead and frayed
But your word is spoken over me
Let the winds blow round
You restore my broken body
And lift me off the ground
All hope is lost
I could hear others say
But you raise the dead
and you call them by name
And your Spirit moves right through me
And your love comes down
No grave can hold me
As your promise sounds
And you breathe new life into me
And my stone heart softens, my blind eyes see
Your love runs flowing through me,
and your voice sings my name wild and free
There’s a rattle in the valley
Where my dry bones lay
Cause you raise the dead
And you call them by name
And your Spirit moves right through me
And your love comes down
No grave can hold me
As your promise sounds
